Fresh off the Vine is a unique folk/jazz trio featuring the innovative talents of Jesse Ahmann on cello, Karl Berdimurat on acoustic guitar and Lucas Mace on electric guitar. The group’s style ranges from earthy mood-setting improvisations, to groovy rhythms that feature tasteful electric guitar effects. Based in Whitefish, the group regularly plays at local wine bars and breweries, and has performed at many private events and functions throughout the Valley.
Cellist Jesse Ahmann is currently a member of the Glacier Symphony, and has performed at several notable venues, including Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered.
A native of the Flathead Valley, guitarist Karl Berdimurat began making a mark here at a very young age. He has traveled and studied abroad, and was most recently awarded a scholarship to be a student at the 2012 Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop.
Guitarist Lucas Mace found his first inspirations from musical family. After studying at The Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe AZ, he then moved to Huntington Beach, California to join the rock band Humanlab on lead guitar. After touring for 2 years, he relocated to Whitefish Montana where he now performs regularly with many other local musicians.
